Conference theme announcement: Transitions: Navigating Change, Sustaining Mission Join faculty, clinicians, and professional staff from across the country for the 2026 SRFCFA Conference, a national gathering dedicated to supporting those who develop, lead, and sustain student-run free clinics. This year's theme, Transitions: Navigating Change, Sustaining Mission, explores leadership transitions, faculty recruitment and retention, program sustainability, innovation, and strategies for maintaining the core mission of student-led clinical education and community service.The conference offers opportunities to network with colleagues, share best practices, learn from emerging models of care and education, and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of student-run free clinics. Registration now open! Join us in UCLA October 16th (the day before the SSRFCC)! Conference registration is a three-step process: Confirm you are an active SRFCFA member (or complete the membership survey). Complete the conference registration form. Submit your membership dues ($100) and conference registration fee ($100).
Interested in presenting? We welcome 10- and 30-minute presentations and encourage faculty and staff to share their experiences, innovations, scholarship, and lessons learned through abstract submissions. Call for abstracts: Deadline August 1st Abstracts may be submitted for 10 minute oral presentations, panel discussion, or poster session. We invite oral/discussion submissions focused on transitions at all levels within student-run free clinics. Posters can be on any content relevant to SRFCs and does not need to adhere to the conference theme. For more details, see the abstracts link above.
